It's sad really that BB is going to be fired. Both the owner and GM put him in this position. Yeah, he has done some things that make you question if he wanted to be here (playing Bitetto so much, Rask and/or Aberg in SOs), but I think those were more shots at Fenton (you gave me this to work with?) and his tweaks to the roster...along with Uncle Leo insistence that the Wild did not need a rebuild.
Like I said the other day, if BB is truly let go at the end of the season, Fenton better work hard to at least try to get Quenneville.

I like Boudreau, but in the grand scheme of things, he hasn't been much better personnel-wise than Yeo was. Constantly allowing veteran players to take priority over younger guys. Like you said Gus, why the hell does he put guys like Koivu, Staal and Suter together in OT? Arguably 3 of the slowest skaters on the roster and the name of the game in OT is obviously speed. I think a coach like Quenville would make the hard decisons that quite frankly coaches like BB and Yeo could not make. Like Koivu centering the 3rd line or not allowing Suter to amass almost 30 minutes a game, and taking him off the freaking PP.
Whatever, after his first season i thought he was the answer, but this team has been average ever since and not a whole lot has changed personnel-wise until the last month and change. Bruce needs a squad with more star power on it in order to be successful.
